Jeremy Haug, PE - Project Engineer

Jeremy Haug is a Project Engineer with progressive experience as a land planner and civil engineer.  He has extensive knowledge and experience in the planning, design and construction of various sized residential, commercial, utility, and industrial projects.  As such, he has vast working knowledge of land planning and civil engineering requirements and practices within many jurisdictions within Western Washington.

Jeremy is proficient at recognizing key aspects of challenging projects and determining, organizing and implementing the necessary project path and direction from the very beginning of a project to the very end.

Professional Experience:

• Land Planning experience includes SEPA preparation, JARPA’s, critical areas coordination, preliminary and final platting, Planned Unit Developments (PUD), variances, deviations, site planning, code and manual interpretation, etc.

• Extensive engineering experience in grading, stormwater collection and conveyance, stormwater retention and detention systems, stormwater water quality treatment systems, Low Impact Development (LID) options and implementations, parking lot and roadway design, sanitary sewer systems design, water systems designs, culvert design and erosion control measures and implementation

• Project cost estimating/budgeting/contract preparation

• Preparing engineering cost estimates of projects

• Value Engineering of projects

• Has been responsible for leading a design team of up to 12 engineers and staff

• Identifying, preparing application packages for, and obtaining necessary permits in a cost effective and timely manner that best serves the clients objectives

• Engineering representative for property owner/client/developer, and point of contact for contractors and other consultants during the construction phase

• Coordination with consultants, sub-consultants, contractors, and sub-contractor of the project team to achieve project goals

• Work closely with city, county, state and federal agencies and governments, as well as local utility district officials and representatives, within numerous jurisdictions in the Puget Sound region, to properly and efficiently complete project design and obtain approval of construction documents

• Utilizes hydraulic modelling software required for stormwater facilities such as WWHM3, KCRTS, and Stormshed 2G

• Proficient in ACAD Civil 3D
