Steve Woods – Professional Land Surveyor

Steve Woods is experienced in processing (field-to-finish) GPS surveys, subdivisions of land, A.L.T.A./ACSM surveys, topographic surveys, construction surveys, wetland surveys, Records of Surveys, etc.  He is familiar with survey-related research in Pierce, Kitsap, Snohomish, Thurston and King Counties and the Department of Natural Resources in Olympia. With his extensive years of experience in cost estimating and project management, Steve can give realistic budgets and timelines for any project involving land surveying. His 25 years of office and field experience coupled with his competitive drive to satisfy the customer, makes him one of the most valuable members of any team. His experience with full robotics and GPS data collections allows Contour Engineering to compete in the survey market. He has experience in training personnel in various stages of the surveying mapping process, research and analysis and proper field procedures. For the past 10 years, Steve has been responsible for the field note reduction of Static and RTK based GPS surveys. GPS has been the backbone of all his major projects, by establishing site control and through monument recovery.  His horizontal and vertical control has been established using Trimble receivers and Trimble office software.

Steve Woods, PLS has provided quality A.L.T.A./ACSM, boundary, topographic, GPS surveying, and construction staking services throughout the State of Washington.  He has 25 years of experience in the field and office in the profession of land surveying.  Steve has extensive experience with boundary and topographic work for civil design purposes, as either the Project Land Surveyor or Project Manager.
